CLOSET MUST HAVES

Sitting on the plane looking to my right at a thick bodied young lady with very big breasts having enough cleavage to put everybody on the flight inside was a sight to behold, it was maybe the worst 2 minutes of my day. I remember when a lot of cleavage with the big breasts hugging together was sexy but time has past, so has that trend, its over, move on.

I realize that many people need to do a bit of time traveling to the present because I see so many ladies in so many things that were sexy last year and even five years ago. I remember when wearing your jeans low showing your butt crack in those “hipsters jeans” were very sexy but now that’s almost like being a stripper in fashion, now its all about high waists and the more conservative looks along wit straight denims.

It dawned on me that maybe I should do a “things you need to have in your closet” feature. I have read a million of these lists and some of them make no sense and are absolutely ridiculous. Now im going to share what you really need to have in your closet.

A CLASSIC DESIGNER BAG-Invest, I know $3000.00 might be a lot to take in for a classic designer bag but it lasts forever and what do you want to last forever you ask?. My obvious choice the Classic Chanel shoulder bag of course (pic)you all know how I love Chanel. The word classic is a strong word used by fashion gods and CandyRenee to describe an item that can and will never be extinct to the fashion trends around the world, It will always be keeper it has has pretty much a universal “keeper” style, that effortless simplicity that brings out the class and excitement in the most boring outfit. I am truly in love

A BLACK DRESS

Everyone knows about the little black dress right? It will never fail you,when you have no clue as to what to wear to an event just pull it out wear a statement neck piece,sum nice heels and you are good to go.

A WHITE DRESS-I know you have probably never seen this on a blog before but think about it,if a party has a color theme its usually white isn’t it?, yes I hav heard of black parties, and pink parties but all white parties are the most popular especially in the Caribbean urge you to invest in a fabulous white outfit, if you love to party you will be needing it.

A BLACK OR WHITE BLAZER JACKET-This goes for men too Blazers are awesome just throw it over a dress you wore just the other day and you are good to go you think you look too casual ,even if you are wearing something regular as a pair of jeans the blazer will make a world of difference, I always find nice blazers in forever21 and H&M reasonably priced waiting on you to pick one up!

as you can see they both wouldve had totally different looks if the blazer just happened to go missing.

BLACK PUMPS I would suggest not too pointy and not too round either one comes and goes out of style like magic what can i say the color goes with everything so does the style

A NICE SWIMSUIT Tropical girls always need lovely swimsuits why? we have the best beaches of course!!!!,we need to make a statement even when we are on the beach or to that special beach event im from Jamaica we always have beach events and everyone plays bikini dress up.Its needed!

THE PERFECT PAIR OF JEANS-WOW! This should be an investment, My best advice is get a solid color know many people who have a lot of jeans and all are the same colour,maybe a slightly different style but that’s it and I know many people who have 2 pairs of jeans and you would never know mix it up with belts, sew pockets on them just for a day have fun with it, and most importantly always make sure investments fit perfect and the type of material will last remember not every expensive jeans is a good investment,buffalo,guess,express,true religion are good labels to check out.

“THE SERIOUS OUTFIT”-All ladies need a im serious outfit, maybe for big meetings or interviews every lady has that time when they need to put on their game face and game outfit, mine is a white thin turtle neck top from Topshop.com and my black pencil skirt from Charlotte russe,I also have a loose fitted black pants, I don’t remember where I got that from but all 3 show my dedication and seriousness especially when I put on my “medicated glasses” I look super smart and business like.

Last but definitely not least as far as statement pieces go,i would advise ladies to posses a nice scarf that will instantly change the look of any outfit,you will know this from the colors and the quality if the scarf or even the label,a statement neck piece and an outstanding brooch the prices can go as low as $12.00 in forever 21.The reason why these statement pieces are so important is because simplicity goes a far way,there is nothing wrong with a white tee and a pair of nice jeans but there needs to be a wow effect,it doesnt matter what you are sporting and thats the reason for “statement pieces”.

If you notice all she is really wearing is a white tee and jeans,the statement pieces are her Louis Vuitton Scarf and her Christian Louboutin boots.

THE MAN I LOVE

A lot of people have been inboxing asking me if I have a picture of my full outfit from last nights event,see outfit below.

Wearing a Chanel Inspired Pink and Black sweater overlayed with a grey sweater from forever 21,grey booties from Steve madden. love it??

I love men who are well dressed but I strongly believe and alot might disagree ,that a man should not outdo his woman,a woman should not outdo the man either but be the eye candy on the mans arm, therefore i dont need to be wondering “couldnt he buy her some clothes when he was obviously buying some for himself?”,I have been in conversations where my friend would say to me oh all he wears is Gucci and Prada and im thinking so where are yours?

Men take pride in making sure they look clean,I have realised that and so do women all im saying is when a man is determined to look fresh at an event,more than 50% of the times he outdoes his woman.For the women that keep on being the eye candy for the man, buy some clothes for him keep his swag up to your just close enough for you both to look like a fabulous couple, it doesnt have to cost much,alot of women believe that he is a man so even at a funeral he can wear a tee and a polo throw on a blazer on him and he will be good.

THE THINGS I LOVE,THE MEN I LOVE.THE LIST OF FIVE.

1) A Vest/blazer or two.

I am in love with my first choice,as you know i shop for men and when i see one of my clients try on a tee and effortlessly throws a vest on it literally makes the world of a difference and what i love with vests and blazers you can go to a small lyme in your tee and when the club is getting started you throw on your blazer and you look like a clean cut gentleman,automatically!!.

2) A nice watch

I know alot of you are still in the rubber Gshock phase.Get over it.Thank You.I dont know materials very well forgive me but if its not silver,gold or leather its rubber right? please correct me if im wrong.I dont want me husband going to a fashion event with me in a rubber/plastic watch ,as I said sum its just not my style i know some of them are very expensive but ladies I think your partner should posses a nice Tag Heuers,Rado,Omega watever it is a nice silver or gold classy linked watch,have him looking clean,and sometimes i doesnt matter what a man has on when he has on a nice watch it shows his style 100% its funny i am not one of those young ladies who looks at a mans watch the instant i meet him but i do see the logic because i do notice alot of men who do take pride in class and fashion always posses lovely watches and I love that!

PS.I also like leather bands..real leather bands.Those arent bad,I spotted sum eye candy while “observing and researching”

3) Tattoos

I know what you are thinking i know it might not be classy to some people but I have a thing for guys who have sentimental tattoos,If they are in music they have a treble clef on their arm, their daughter (daughter being one ) haha,or their past experiences or something god related or their mother.I love that,I am not telling anyone to run off and get tattoos but that certainly gives an extra star when i meet a gentleman.

4) HAIR.

Hair is really important to me,my husband needs to be properly groomed,just like a poodle he needs to understand that if he has low hair and thats his image to the barber he goes,every week a spikey haired man should understand that when he wakes up in the mornings ,for me his woman,he should never be out of gel to spike that hair up.That is necessary.I love cornrows and I love dreads but men if you can afford or you are too lazy to keep your hair neat all the time then cut it off because these kind of hairstyles or hair images will make you look homeless in a split second,I know alot of men who have their hairdresser on call because it needs to be maintained constantly.But i love a well groomed man.That is all.

5) DIAMONDS/RHINESTONES/GLASS

Diamonds are always nice arent they? but not when they are fake though right? When i see a man wearing a “tennis necklace” to the supermarket just walking like its no big deal,i know it is fake,fact of the matter is if you are wearing a tennis necklace the worth of those diamonds you could not be possibly walking by yourself ,really?

Im not saying that if you see a knockoff of a diamond chain you cant afford you should not buy it enjoy watever you can while you can but making the fake so obvious with crystal clear diamonds that glow in the dark is not good for your image.

I Read an interesting article on www.the-money-cafe.com check out some of these points.

The same applies if you are a man contemplating some new threads and think that only something high-end from Hugo Boss, Armani, or Savile Row will do.

Many people get themselves in financial trouble (requiring debt management help) because they don’t realize how much they spend on high-end clothing and how little they get in return.

Researchers have found that people on the average will underestimate by 50 percent the actual amount that they annually spend on their wardrobes. Moreover, spending choices on clothing aren’t as well thought out as we may think.

The Chicago Tribune recently reported retailers know that most purchasing decisions are made in five seconds and at least 70 percent of purchases are impulsive. Given that clothing is the most popular item purchased on impulse, most of us rarely spend any time in contemplating the benefits of paying $400 for a name-brand jacket or $950 for an exclusive high-end outfit. Whenever we do give it any thought, it’s a superficial treatment at best.
