I have so many thoughts running through my mind about the YSL name change I found it hard to even start this sentence.I am so disappointed in Pierre Berge for even agreeing with this nonsense.How can a new Creative Director just come in and change the name of such a prestige Fashion House? Yves dedicated his life to YSL and just with a pen to a paper you find it fit to just change a part of his legacy?Many consumers are disgusted and disappointed at this change and I really think that this is the time for Fashion Houses to listen to us and our thoughts because this is beyond unacceptable.I am aware that the YSL Logo will stay the same but why fix what isn’t broken ,what harm has the “Yves” on YSL done to anyone,why was it so important to leave it behind? and one last question how can you drastically change something so Iconic? Good luck Hedi Slimane,some think you are a control freak me? I have no comment.Lets see how far you take YSL and it might be unfair but I am sure after this name change you only get one fair shot with the consumers.. Xx
