FAVORITE TRENDS OF 2012

Let me start off by saying that I love to follow trends but I rarely buy pieces that are “in style” I am the weirdo who will buy it when the craze is over.These are trends that I adored,bought and hope they never go into the “thats so last year” category.

PEPLUM

Love .Peplum accentuates the hips and gives us just the right amount of curves.This trend however,doesn’t really do well with women who have no hips whatsoever and women who have too much hip so its a very tricky trend,definitely not for everyone

 

FlORAL

Floral is my latest obsession,after I saw Roberto Cavalli suits gracing the red carpets I was in completely in love.I love uniformed outfits which Is why I love monochrome so much,so the fact that floral suits were back in made me so happy!

OXBLOOD

The Hottest color to trend.Period.Oxblood goes so well with turquoise,mustard,dark green,hot pink and cream.Try it!

WEDGE SNEAKERS

Thanks to Isabel Marant,this has been my favorite trend.I love the fact that if you didnt like sneakers because you were way too girly you could buy a pair and you would feel just as fab.I love sneakers,I know I am always in heel but my alter ego adores Jordans. its true.

VELVET

The sexiest fall trend.I am so weak for black velvet and leather.Fashion can be so breathtaking!

LEATHER

Leather Isn’t on this list because its a 2012 trend.I am not crazy,I know leather is a luxury that will never ever be out of style however this year was a craze Ive never seen.The oxblood,blue and even pink leather really hit the carpet and the street this year.It was beautiful..and expensive.

I had so much fun this year.House party,family amazing food and wine,it was almost perfect.Joining in all the fun was my oxblood slim dress by Gucci and fur jacket from French Connection.The pearls were very iffy for me but I really wanted mixture of color.

I hope everyone enjoyed their day yesterday and I hope you brought in Christmas with a banging outfit!

PURPLE DAYS

Monochrome number two.I told you I would try and see how many monochromes I could do before the years ends (Its getting already).This is lunch time for me but I decided to play dress up.This outfit consists of my new Givenchy sunglasses.Love,Love,Love,H&M purple skirt,purple sweater,black and white checkered coat and Steve Madden purple and navy blue pumps. I spent an hour switching from putting my hair into a ponytail into a bun then letting it out.I was so confused and I ended up doing a bun and still not parting it straight.Oh well.
